I am 24 years old and do wear hearing aids, but I still have hearing loss. Could that be a reason not to attend? On the notice it says that for a disability that a physician has to fill it out. I live in California if that helps, thanks.

The doctors can’t find any medical cause for it and there is no hearing loss. How common is that? Why did it happen? What can I do to make it go away if anything?

She said that my ears weren’t infected, but that there was a lot of fluid in there which could be causing my hearing loss, headaches, unsteadiness, and tinnitus. She refered me to an ENT specialist, but I can’t get there until Tuesday.

My 84-year old grandmother is deaf in one ear and has near-total hearing loss in the other. She wears hearing-aids but relies on lip-reading to assist w/ comprehension.
Phone calls can no longer be accepted because of her condition.
